I consider my work the result of my passions, of my conflicts with the world and with the nature that surrounds me, wherever I am.
In the process of investigation and recreation of my world, I am basically an abstract painter, but I love nature and sometimes it comes to my expression.
I work in different media, watercolors, acrylics and oils, also different supports as paper, canvas and wood. I apply color in thin layers, and glazes sometimes over gesso.
Lately I am working with images in the computer with the Adobe Photoshop program, sometimes I use images of my own paintings, sometimes I combine them with photos that I take of reality, or from other artists, that I transform into a new form, when ready I print them on aluminum to obtain a different result.
As in any other creative process, it is based on searching and analysis; there is an evolution and a result.
Since very young I moved a lot, I was born in Peru in a city in the middle of the Andes, but I have also lived close to the Pacific Ocean. As an adult I have resided in: Perú, Colombia, México and for the last twenty-fiver years I have been living in South Florida.
